The two Automower® 550 Husqvarna supplied by DavideMag Ltd. will mean that the club will be using the same maintenance system as French Paris Saint Germain
Amares, 8 July 2020. Portuguese football club Amares has bought two robotic lawn mowers of the latest generation for the maintenance of the Engenheiro José Carlos Macedo stadium. They are two Automower® 550 of the brand Husqvarna. This will mean that they will be using the lawn maintenance system used by top French football clubs like Paris Saint Germain or Guingamp.
The Automower® 550, supplied by DavideMag Ltd. –Husqvarna’s local dealer–, may operate in areas up to 5,000 square metres. They are environmentally friendly and incorporate Husqvarna’s latest technology, including GPS-assisted navigation, configuration via smartphone or weather timer. They also include remote object detection and manage steep slopes up to 45%.
Olivier Silva, president of the FC Amares, remarked that ‘both Paris Saint Germain and Guingamp have the best football fields in France so purchasing the two robotic mowers has definitely paid off’. The purchase of Husqvarna’s lawn mowers will also reduce water, electricity and fertilizer costs.
