EL SABIO HOLDS ALL THE ANSWERS

El Sabio was founded in 2020 following the acquisition of Grupo Ferretero Benito Areán, whose aim was to transform the hardware sector.

The El Sabio project is based on four levers: closeness, distinction, personalised advice and a human touch that sets it apart from the online world and large supermarkets.

El Sabio provides customers with all the expertise of local hardware shops and offers a shopping experience unlike any other brand in the sector.

The new hardware, DIY, home, countryside and garden chain was created to provide local hardware dealers with all the necessary resources (in terms of products, brand image and technology) to enable them to open or transform their shops with full support and advice, but with their own identity.

After opening the first two pilot shops in February 2021 “El Sabio Agrosilva” (Cerdeda) and “El Sabio-A Botica do Agro” (Cambre), both in the province of A Coruña, the chain of DIY shops has been increasing the number of partner establishments until closing the year 2022 with a total of 25 shops open in 11 different autonomous communities.
