The installed model automates maintenance tasks and, according to a life cycle assessment, can generate up to 83% lower CO₂e emissions than a Husqvarna P 525DX diesel mower under the conditions defined in the study
Ordes (A Coruña), 10 May 2023.- Ordes Town Council has chosen Husqvarna CEORA™ technology for the maintenance of the grass at the Vista Alegre Municipal Football Ground, home of S.D Club Órdenes.

The device selected for this project is the CEORA™ 546 EPOS robotic lawn mower, which was installed in October 2022, several months before its commercial launch in Spain. Its ultrasonic object detection system helps reduce interruptions caused by obstacles; its battery-powered operation produces no direct exhaust emissions during use; and management via an app allows the robot to be monitored and controlled in real time from any location.
This collaboration between Ordes Town Council and Husqvarna has enabled autonomous lawn management while supporting the work of the maintenance teams. Antonio Vázquez, President of S.D.C. Órdenes, highlights that the introduction of CEORA™ has helped reduce maintenance costs and improve grass quality, while also automating part of the mowing process.
According to a life cycle assessment carried out by a third party, CEORA™ can generate up to 83% lower CO₂e emissions over its life cycle than a Husqvarna P 525DX with a diesel engine, under the conditions established in the study. The assessment is based on a 30-week mowing season across two football pitches, equivalent to 16,000 m², using the average European Union electricity mix for CEORA™ and standard diesel for the P 525DX.
The brand, marketed by Internaco in Spain and Portugal, is one of the leading manufacturers of robotic lawn mowers and has added CEORA™ to its professional range for the maintenance of large grass areas of up to 75,000 m².
