Those attending were able to get first hand knowledge of the features and performance of the products of the Japonese company while exchanging opinions and making queries
Ordes, 10 May 2021 Last 27th April, greenkeepers from all over Galicia attended the machinery demo by Japanese company Baroness organized by Internaco GSP and A&B Parts Machines, a partner of the Japanese company. The demo took place at Val de Rois Golf Course (A Coruña) through the collaboration of the Asociación de Greenkeepers de Galicia, headed by Jorge Canal and Val de Rois Greenkeeper Guillermo Barreras, who provided the golf course where the presentation was made.
Most of the golf courses in Galicia were represented at the event, including the Real Club de Golf at La Toja; Val de Rois Golf club; Real Aero Club de Vigo; Real Aero Club de Santiago; Balneario de Mondariz Golf Club; La Zapateira Club de Golf; and Aguas Santas Club de Golf. All of them had the opportunity to exchange opinions and resolve queries with the product managers of Internaco GSP Manuel da Silva, from Portugal, and Alfonso Agulló, from Spain.
Throughout the event, attendants were able to get firsthand knowledge of the features and performance of the latest products by the Japanese company. Presentation of products included two walk-behind greens mowers, the LM56 and the LM101, Triplex LM315, the SP05 Bunker Rake and the most important new development, the LM551 5-unit mower, which is the lighter and simplest model in the market, equipped with high-quality reels and parts. In this sense, the Baroness mowers use cutting cylinders made of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy and counter blades with especially hardened tips that keep the edge shaper longer than other competing brands, resulting in optimal care of the lawn, which is permanently fine. All this means that maintenance costs are reduced, and their service life is 10 years as opposed to the 5 years that their competitors have on average.
