Through the company Ferrovial, which is in charge of the service, by purchasing 40 latest generation machines of the brand Husqvarna
Sant Cugat, 13 July 2020. To improve the maintenance of green spaces, the Town Hall of Sant Cugat del Vallés has renewed its maintenance equipment. Through the company Ferrovial, which is in charge of this service, it has purchased forty latest generation machines that will make it possible to carry out maintenance tasks with maximum respect for the environment.
The purchase of these machines, all of them of the brand Husqvarna, means that the Town Hall will take a technological leap in the upkeep and maintenance of green spaces. Most of the equipment is battery-operated, a type of power supply that is noiseless, respects the environment and provides a power similar to petrol-operated equipment.
Among the new equipment, the Zero-Turn 454X deserves to be singled out as it is the first machine of this model to be sold in Catalonia. This latest generation lawn mower is perfectly suited for the maintenance of great areas. Its zero-turn radius and its low centre of gravity means that it is stable in uneven terrains and can access the most difficult areas.
Also among the new equipment purchased by the Town Hall of Sant Cugat is a rider P524 with a clearing head, as well as small-sized equipment like chainsaws, brushcutters or blowers.
The new equipment that Ferrovial will use for the maintenance of the green spaces of Sant Cugat del Vallés was supplied by Sat Garden, Husqvarna’s local dealer.
