Through the company Ferrovial, which is in charge of the service, by purchasing 40 latest generation machines of the brand Husqvarna
Sant Cugat, 13 July 2020. With the aim of improving the maintenance of its green spaces, Sant Cugat del Vallès Town Council has renewed its equipment. Through Ferrovial, the company responsible for providing this service, it has acquired forty latest-generation machines that will be used for different green space maintenance tasks throughout the municipality.
The acquisition of this equipment, all from Husqvarna, represents a technological step forward in the maintenance of green spaces. Most of the machines are battery-powered. These machines produce no direct exhaust emissions during use, operate at a low noise level and offer performance suited to different professional tasks.
Among the new equipment is the Zero-Turn 454X, the first machine of this model to be sold in Catalonia. This latest-generation lawn mower is particularly suitable for maintaining large areas. Its zero-turn radius and low centre of gravity provide stability on uneven terrain and make it easier to access more challenging areas.
The new equipment acquired by Sant Cugat Town Council also includes a P524 rider with a clearing attachment, as well as smaller machines including chainsaws, brushcutters and blowers.
The new equipment that Ferrovial will use to maintain the green spaces of Sant Cugat del Vallès was supplied by Sat Garden, Husqvarna’s local dealer.
