Husqvarna makes its cordless boundary wire technology accessible to all
Two new Automower® models for small- to medium-sized gardens
Husqvarna, the world leader in robotic lawnmowers, is now expanding its range of cordless robotic lawnmowers with two Automower® models. Following recent releases aimed at professionals, garden owners will be pleased to learn that the new models cater to small or medium-sized gardens. Both the Automower 310E NERA and the 410XE NERA from the residential line are compatible with Husqvarna’s EPOS satellite navigation system, allowing users to create virtual boundaries with the simplicity of a mobile phone. Alongside these models, Husqvarna introduces its innovative EdgeCut technology, designed to maintain lawn edges perfectly trimmed.
Ordes, February 23, 2024.- Husqvarna is ushering in a new era in robotic lawn care with NERA, a range that enables automatic mowing without perimeter wires. The range now includes two robotic lawnmowers designed for gardens up to 1000 square metres. Husqvarna Automower® 310E NERA and Husqvarna Automower® 410XE NERA are compatible with Husqvarna’s reliable EPOS satellite technology system, offering precision of 2–3 cm. Users only need to use the Automower Connect app to establish virtual garden boundaries. The app also assists users in creating mowing-free areas, from various work zones and rest areas, to electronically adjusting cutting height. Automower Connect provides full control over lawnmowing, even from a distance.
The new models also feature Husqvarna’s new EdgeCut technology. EdgeCut reduces the need for manual trimming of lawn edges, thanks to an additional smaller cutting disc at the rear that performs the task with exceptional precision. Automower® 410XE NERA comes equipped with radar technology, detecting and avoiding obstacles without interrupting the mowing operation.
With the new Husqvarna models, Husqvarna offers a more versatile and efficient lawn care experience. NERA is designed to give the user full control via their mobile phone, with the added flexibility of virtual boundaries. “It’s been designed as a fully automated and hassle-free experience,” explains Panagiota Likidou, Product Director at Husqvarna.
With NERA, users always have the option to use physical boundary wires or virtual limits, making it a hybrid machine thanks to an EPOS kit, which includes a small plug-in accessory for the lawnmower and a discreet reference station that will be installed in the garden. The EPOS kit is sold as a separate accessory.
