Two new Automower® models for small- to medium-sized gardens
Husqvarna, a global leader in robotic lawn mowing, is expanding its boundary-wire-free robotic mower range with two new Automower® models. Following recent launches aimed specifically at professionals, the new models have been designed for small and medium-sized gardens.
Both the residential Automower® 310E NERA and 410XE NERA are compatible with Husqvarna’s EPOS satellite navigation system, allowing users to create virtual boundaries from their mobile phone. With these two models, Husqvarna also introduces EdgeCut technology, designed to keep lawn edges trimmed.
Ordes, 23 February 2024.- Husqvarna is expanding its NERA range for robotic lawn care, enabling automatic mowing without physical boundary wires. The range now includes two robotic lawn mowers designed for gardens of up to 1,000 square metres.
Husqvarna Automower® 310E NERA and Husqvarna Automower® 410XE NERA are compatible with Husqvarna’s EPOS satellite technology, which provides an accuracy of 2-3 cm. Users can use the Automower® Connect app to create virtual boundaries around their garden.
The app also allows users to configure stay-out zones, different work areas and rest areas, as well as electronically adjust the cutting height. Automower® Connect enables lawn mowing to be managed remotely.
The new models also feature Husqvarna EdgeCut technology. EdgeCut reduces the need to trim lawn edges manually thanks to a smaller additional cutting disc located at the rear. Automower® 410XE NERA also features radar technology to detect and avoid objects while mowing.
With the new models, Husqvarna offers a more versatile and automated lawn-care experience. NERA allows users to manage different settings from their mobile phone while benefiting from the additional flexibility of virtual boundaries, explains Panagiota Likidou, Product Manager at Husqvarna.
With NERA, users can choose between physical boundary wires and virtual boundaries, making it a hybrid system through an EPOS kit consisting of a small plug-in accessory for the mower and a reference station installed in the garden. The EPOS kit is sold separately.
