Zanon offers seven battery-powered shears from its professional and semi-professional ranges, with increased sustainability and autonomy.

Ordes, 13 October 2022.- Zanon, an Italian brand specialised in agricultural tools and machinery, offers the most complete range of pruning shears on the market. Its battery-powered shears provide a great level of autonomy and adapt to users’ desired purpose, making pruning days easier for all.

The seven models comprising its range of shears – priced from as little as €269 – are all battery-powered, boosting their sustainability and autonomy for work management. All Zanon shears also include batteries, maintenance tools and a charger.

This Italian brand has designed a pair of semi-professional shears, geared towards the flower- and wine-growing sector, supplying simple pruning management at a low price.  This is the case of the ZE25 LIGHT model, which includes a grease gun in addition to the standard accessories. These shears – with a 10.8V lithium battery and a 72W brushless electric motor – are ideal for pruning small-diameter branches, thanks to their cutting span of up to 25mm.

Zanon rounds off its selection of electronic shears with the top model in its professional line: the Viper SV45. These shears, tested on large areas, allow for excellent cutting quality over a whole day of pruning. This leading model is particularly fast and silent, thanks to its 120W brushless electric motor, but also safe, with anti-cut protection systems for wires and fingers and approach sensing system for the blade crossing point. It incorporates a 3.2A/H lithium battery, allowing for up to 13,000 cuts after a single charge. It is also reversible, adapting to left-handed and right-handed cuts. The ergonomic, balanced design of its handle makes work easier, whilst helping to prevent conditions associated with the profession, such as a Carpal tunnel syndrome. Its double opening position makes it possible to cut branches between 25 and 45mm; to change user, the trigger simply needs to be pressed down for 3 seconds.
