The Husqvarna T540i XP® top-handle and 540i XP® rear-handle chainsaws offer performance equivalent to professional 40cc petrol chainsaws
Ordes, February 2020.- Husqvarna introduces two new battery-powered chainsaws developed for professional users: the T540i XP® and 540i XP®. Both models combine a new design with high manoeuvrability and the performance required for tree removal and smaller cutting tasks.
The T540i XP® and 540i XP® are equipped with the Husqvarna BLi200X and BLi300 batteries respectively and offer capabilities equivalent to professional 40cc petrol chainsaws. They feature a simple and intuitive user interface and provide a high level of versatility. As battery-powered machines, they produce no direct exhaust emissions during use and expose the user to lower noise and vibration levels.
Andreas Rangert, Vice President of Husqvarna’s Tree Professional unit, says: “The T540i XP® top-handle chainsaw and the 540i XP® rear-handle chainsaw complement each other and have the potential to change the way users work.”
The two machines are also lightweight, weighing 2.5 kg and 2.9 kg respectively.
The T540i XP® features the new Husqvarna X-Cut SP21G chain and Husqvarna X-Precision bar and is suitable both for cutting thick trunks and branches and for smaller tasks thanks to its compact dimensions and manoeuvrability. The 540i XP® offers the same power and is particularly suited to ground-based work.
Both Husqvarna chainsaws are manufactured using high-quality materials and are designed to operate in demanding weather conditions. The machines are priced at €649, with Internaco, Husqvarna’s official representative in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, scheduled to distribute the T540i XP® from the end of February and the 540i XP® from the end of March.
