Husqvarna is now making it possible to operate a commercial front mower from a distance by adding a remote control to their new P 524XR EFI mower.
Ordes, 11 January 2023.- Husqvarna ride-on mowers have been tested over many years and allow users to mow a wide variety of areas efficiently. However, there are places where safety margins are lower for any type of vehicle, such as steep slopes and embankments, particularly when the grass is wet.
The new Husqvarna P 524XR EFI ride-on mower addresses this challenge by allowing users to operate the machine remotely from a safe location. Users can also operate the mower in the traditional way if they wish, switching quickly and seamlessly between the two modes.
The result is a ride-on mower with greater reach, allowing even more green space to be mown while avoiding the need for costly manual trimming and finishing work or investment in an additional mower specifically designed for slopes.
The remote control features an intuitive, ergonomic and easy-to-use design. Although the ride-on mower can be controlled remotely, users can continue to operate it in the traditional way.
The redesigned X version of the P 524 also provides a reliable machine that has been refined over many years and further enhanced with additional features. These include a new 137 cm cutting deck for increased productivity, a digital user interface and integrated Husqvarna Fleet Services™ connectivity.
The P 524XR EFI also retains the proven features and quality of other Husqvarna mowers, including articulated steering, which makes it easier to manoeuvre the machine in complex or narrow areas where a high degree of manoeuvrability is required.
“The P 524XR EFI ride-on mower is our most versatile model and gives users greater control and functionality. Although it is ideal for mowing complex areas with slopes or difficult-to-reach locations, it is actually a multi-purpose vehicle rather than simply a ride-on mower. Users can attach a wide range of accessories for ground and lawn care, cleaning, towing or even snow removal,” says Fernando Romero, Husqvarna Product Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal.
The Kawasaki® EFI engines used in some models offer improved performance and lower fuel consumption. In addition to its new features, the model is based on Husqvarna’s proven 500 Series chassis, with its distinctive articulated steering that makes mowing around trees, benches and other obstacles easier.
