Husqvarna is now making it possible to operate a commercial front mower from a distance by adding a remote control to their new P 524XR EFI mower.

Ordes, 11 January 2023.- Husqvarna’s ride-on mowers have been tried and tested over many years and enable users to mow a variety of spaces efficiently. However, there are locations where safety margins are lower for any type of vehicle, such as slopes and steep banks, especially when the grass is damp. Husqvarna’s new P 524XR EFI front mower solves that problem by allowing users to operate the front mower remotely from a safe ground. Users can still operate the front mower in a traditional way when they want, simply by switching between the two modes quickly and seamlessly. The result is a front mower that can reach further and mow even more green space than before, thus avoiding the need for costly manual trimming and touch-ups, or investment in an additional mower dedicated to slopes.

The remote control has been designed to be intuitive, ergonomic and easy to use. By making a ride-on mower remote-controlled, users can still use it in a traditional way. With the new facelifted X model of the P 524 mower, they also get a reliable machine that has been perfected over many years and has now been improved even further and upgraded with additional features. This includes a new 137 cm wide cutting deck for increased productivity, a digital user interface, and built-in Husqvarna Fleet Services™ connectivity. The P 524XR EFI  front mower also retains the proven quality and features of Husqvarna’s other ride-on mowers, such as the articulated steering which makes it possible to operate in complex or narrow spaces where high maneuverability is required.

The Kawasaki® EFI engines on selected models provide better performance and lower fuel consumption, resulting in a lower environmental impact. Besides the new features, the model is based on Husqvarna’s reliable 500-series chassis with its characteristic articulated steering that simplifies mowing around trees, benches and other obstacles.
