Husqvarna joins the Power for All Alliance, one of the world’s largest multi-brand battery systems.
The alliance, initiated by Bosch, allows the same 18 V battery to be used across different compatible tools from participating brands.
Ordes, 10 June 2022.- Husqvarna, distributed in Spain by Grupo Internaco, is joining the Power for All Alliance, an initiative based on a common 18 V battery system for different brands.
The system allows users to operate multiple compatible home and garden tools with the same battery, regardless of the manufacturer. Since its launch, more than 25 million batteries compatible with the platform have been sold worldwide.
The Power for All Alliance brings together a number of manufacturers of battery-powered products for the home and garden. Husqvarna joins an initiative that already includes Gardena, a brand within Husqvarna Group.
Sofia Axelsson, President of the Residential Segment for Europe and Asia-Pacific within Husqvarna’s Forest & Garden division, highlights that joining the alliance responds to demand from users looking for a reliable battery that can be used across several household and gardening tools.
Compatibility across different products reduces the number of batteries and chargers required to operate several tools within the platform, simplifying their use and storage.
Husqvarna plans to introduce a range of products for garden owners that will be compatible with the Power for All battery system. The range will be marketed in Spain through the brand’s distribution channels.
Bosch Power Tools, which initiated the alliance, highlights that Husqvarna’s addition expands the variety of products available within the system and makes it easier for users to use the same battery platform across different applications.
The aim of the Power for All Alliance is to provide a broad 18 V multi-brand battery system compatible with different household, DIY, gardening, cleaning and leisure applications.
Brands participating in the Power for All Alliance include Husqvarna, Gardena, Bosch, Flymo, Gloria, Steinel, Rapid, Wagner, Perfect Pro and Kübler Workwear.
