Husqvarna introduces CEORA™ in Spain, its robotic solution for professional lawn care.
The 544 EPOS and 546 EPOS models automate mowing tasks across large grass areas.
Ordes, 2 November 2022.- Husqvarna introduces CEORA™, its robotic solution for the professional maintenance of large grass areas of up to 75,000 m².
Following its introduction in different European markets, CEORA™ has been well received, with particular recognition for the quality and consistency of its mowing performance.

Optimal conditions on a sports field
CEORA™ is designed for the professional maintenance of large grass areas. Depending on mowing conditions and requirements, it can be used on sports fields, parks, golf courses and other large green areas.
Its technology enables mowing tasks to be automated and work areas and schedules to be managed digitally.
“We believe overall cost savings could be achieved, allowing CEORA™ users, for example, to free staff from repetitive and time-consuming tasks so they can apply their technical expertise to more varied and higher-value work,” says Víctor Valiña.
Electric operation and safety
CEORA™ is battery-powered and produces no direct exhaust emissions during use. It also operates at a low noise level, a particularly relevant feature for sports fields, golf courses and other areas where noise levels may be an important factor.
According to a life cycle assessment carried out by a third party, CEORA™ can generate up to 83% lower CO₂e emissions over its life cycle than a Husqvarna P 525DX with a diesel engine, under the conditions established in the study.
The assessment is based on a 30-week mowing season across two football pitches, equivalent to 16,000 m², using the average European Union electricity mix for CEORA™ and standard diesel for the Husqvarna P 525DX.
Safety was also an important consideration in the development of CEORA™. The machine incorporates an ultrasonic object detection system that allows it to reduce speed when it detects a nearby obstacle.
Safety lights can also be used during hours of darkness to make it easier for people and animals to identify that CEORA™ is operating.
Autonomy and efficiency in maintenance and management
CEORA™ has been designed to operate autonomously and allows professionals to digitally manage work areas, schedules and mowing patterns using compatible devices.
The platform can be adapted to different maintenance requirements and enables frequent, systematic mowing to maintain consistent grass quality.
“In reality, we are only beginning to see all the possibilities CEORA™ can offer,” says Víctor Valiña.
Routine maintenance during the season includes operations such as blade replacement and cleaning. The cutting deck also features a tilting function designed to make maintenance and cutting-disc replacement easier.
