Husqvarna has added its unique TrioBrake™ feature to the 550 XP® Mark II chainsaw, which leads to better protection and ergonomics. TrioBrake™ is an additional chain brake system that will automatically stop the chain if the chainsaw is used incorrectly, and can consequently help prevent accidents. It can protect experienced users from mistakes, and helps our users to acquire certain professional habits by conditioning them to use the correct position and technique
Ordes, 2 September 2022.- The 550 XP® Mark II TrioBrake™ is Husqvarna’s new 50cc chainsaw for professional loggers and arborists. The chainsaw was designed to deliver excellent cutting capacity, maneuverability and endurance when handling small and mid-sized trees. To improve it even further, Husqvarna is offering an upgraded version with the additional protection feature TrioBrake™.
TrioBrake™ prevents certain incorrect uses by automatically stopping the chainsaw chain if the user is operating the chainsaw in the wrong position. This not only promotes better ergonomics and increases protection, but teaches beginners to use the saw correctly and become better chainsaw users.
The TrioBrake™ feature is excellent for all users, but especially students and beginners. It will instantly stop the chain if the user doesn’t bend the knees while cutting low, or if the chainsaw is held close to the upper body or face. But TrioBrake™ also provides better protection for experienced users and will help prevent accidents.
Husqvarna’s 550 XP® Mark II TrioBrake™ comes with many improvements over the Mark I; Better cooling capacity keeps the engine cool in hot conditions, and the excellent maneuverability and handling reduces fatigue. Additionally, the ergonomically designed handles provide a comfortable grip.
Performance and usability are additional key aspects of the 550 XP® Mark II TrioBrake™. The chainsaw is easier to aim when felling, and produces more precise results thanks to two felling sights.
The 550 XP® Mark II TrioBrake™ comes in two versions: without or with heated handles that provide additional comfort in cold weather.
