Benza Energy is involved in this project by supplying gensets that are able to operate under the most extreme weather conditions.
Ordes, 21 December 2020 Benza Energy, the division specialized in power solutions of the Internaco Group, has manufactured nine gensets for the Hamriyah plant that will provide power to the Emirate of Sharjah.
The project in which Benza Energy is involved in was completed last summer as the Internaco Group was awarded the supply contract for nine 2600 Kw gensets for the combined cycle power plant in Hamriyah. The Black Start gensets were commissioned, which were mounted on an ISO 40 container with an air cooler on the roof. This result is an optimal performance under the conditions found at the port of Sharjah, with temperatures over 50ºC and the constant presence of dust and sand particles.
Luis Sánchez, the director of the project developed by Benza Energy, explains that the Black Start System makes it possible to restore the power plant with no dependence from the exterior grid”. This project is a turning point in the growth of our division specialized in the manufacturing of gensets”, he adds.
