This is the latest addition to the ELECTROCOUP series of electric pruners.
It is the 9th generation of shears, successor to the best-selling F3015, featuring ergonomic improvements, new safety features and increased performance.
The F3020 introduces the “Soft” mode ideal for beginners in the world of pruning.
Ordes (A Coruña) 26 April 2022.- INFACO is renewing its range of electric pruning shears with the latest version of INFACO’s ELECTROCOUP series, the F3020, which, in addition to ergonomic improvements, comes with the DSES Wireless safety system and a soft mode, ideal for beginners.
The new F3020, sold in Spain by Grupo Internaco through its El Sabio division, was presented worldwide on 31 March 2022 in Albi (France) and is the result of six years of development. This new model increases power by 20%, reduces weight by almost 100g and cuts 10mm off its predecessor, the F3015, in length. The LITHIUM ION battery, with a runtime of 8 hours and 100% full charge in just one hour and 30 minutes, is now 36 volts, allowing it to be used with high-capacity batteries.
The F3020 also features semi-aperture and wide-open customisation modes, adding a soft mode to the range’s standard mode. These parameters can be stored in the device’s smart system for more user-friendly control. This new model allows the pruning shear itself to collect and analyse even more information to enable the user to make the most of the tool’s performance (management of available energy resources, archiving of usage statistics, number of cuts, time of use, etc.).
Major safety improvements
This new model features the DSES Wireless (Wireless Electronic Supplementary Safety Electronic Device) system, which detects when contact is made with the opposite hand to the one holding the pruning shear and retracts to prevent an accident. This, together with the straight cable and battery waistcoat that allows the cable to exit straight out at shoulder level to reduce the risk of snagging, is a significant safety enhancement, which is complemented by the addition of the soft mode for newcomers to the trade.
Connectivity and flexibility
The F3020 mower is available with an optional Bluetooth® connected box that allows synchronisation with the free Infaco app (available on Android and iOS) for further configuration. Through this app, the user can:
- Configure their pruner (half-opening, blade crossing, “standard” or “soft” control mode, speed in Soft mode, etc.).
- View usage statistics (time of use, number of cuts, etc.).
- Display the progress of pruning through geolocation points of use.
The model is 10% lighter than the F3015 and has a 13% lighter battery which, together with the Quick Lock-Unlock system in its case, makes it the lightest option in its range.
