Ordes (A Coruña) 26 April 2022.- The most influential youtuber in the world for DIY in Spain, EFE UNO JOAQUÍN, will collaborate with the DIY, home, countryside and garden chain El Sabio as part of the company’s strategy to reinforce its presence in the online world without losing its brand identity: close relationship with the customer and exquisite customer service.

Joaquín Gómez, with more than a million followers on his YouTube channel, wins people over with his useful and down-to-earth videos and connects with the public through his extensive knowledge of DIY, but above all, through his way of explaining things. “He brings together all the characteristics of a ‘wise man’, he is like a lifelong hardware dealer, who you can ask for advice and you know he won’t let you down”, explain El Sabio.

The brand argues that reinforcing its presence in social networks is part of the initial strategy because it is dictated by reality and new consumer trends. “Studies tell us that the online world is here to stay: online sales in the DIY and hardware sector have grown by more than 120% in the last two years,” El Sabio points out.

Complementary worlds

However, the company insists that the unstoppable growth of e-commerce is not at odds with face-to-face shopping. “They are two worlds that complement each other”, explained the firm, which burst onto the market in 2020 with the opening of its first shop and currently has 19 establishments throughout Spain.

The collaboration agreement with EFE UNO JOAQUÍN will begin this week when the first video will be broadcast in which the youtuber will test the Ryobi battery-powered tools, one of the brands that El Sabio has exclusive rights to in Spain.
