- El Sabio Todo Campo opens two more stores in Andalusia: one in Carmona and another in Cordoba.
Ordes (A Coruña), 24 de May 2024.- The personalised customer service typical of traditional hardware stores, but with all the necessary tools to innovate, evolve, digitalise and thus be competitive in the market, are the key to the continued expansion of the El Sabio chain in Spain.
El Sabio Todocampo is a clear example. With a shop in the centre of Seville of more than 700m2, it has just opened a 300m2 outlet in the town of Carmona, in Seville, and has another, soon to be opened, in the city of Cordoba, measuring 160m2. More than 1000m2 of facilities specialised in hardware, home and garden, for customer service, warehouse and technical service.
This family business is headed by José María Sánchez, who has been involved in the hardware trade for a quarter of a century, and where the emphasis is on personalised service and advice, which are also the hallmarks of the Galician chain. “We decided to open two more shops as a result of the Group’s backing, as well as the fantastic training, digitalisation and advice services on product material and technical service”, Sánchez said.
The opening of the Cordoba shop will bring the number of employees at Sabio Todocampo to 27, where the second generation is fully integrated.
All shops offer technical service. “We try to focus on providing an unbeatable service and taking care of our customers’ needs with a broad and upgraded product range”, explains the owner.
El Sabio: advice and personalisation
The hardware, home, countryside and garden chain El Sabio was founded in 2021 to provide answers to both consumers and local hardware dealers, who reject being depersonalised by multinationals. This is a clear commitment to local commerce and its customer-friendly approach.
The “El Sabio” project is part of the Internaco Group, a leading Galician company in the forestry and gardening sector, which is operating in more than 50 countries and has continued its strategy of diversification and growth by entering fully into the hardware wholesale sector.
Internaco provides local hardware retailers with all the necessary resources (product, brand image and technology) to enable them to open or transform their shops with comprehensive support and advice, yet maintaining their own identity.
The 165 associated Sabios, of which 10 are in Portugal and the rest in Spain, offer their own brands such as Orework and Kuril, as well as other top-level firms such as Ryobi, Ferroglobal, representative of Truper and its subsidiary brands for Spain and Portugal.
