- The brand is fortifying its presence in the sector by offering a variety of advantages designed to stimulate business growth and support local commerce.
- The initial businesses that have been revamped with all the services and the full El Sabio image have doubled their turnover in just three years of operation.
Ordes (A Coruña), October 2023. – El Sabio is pushing forward with its national expansion by incorporating more than 30 new El Sabio-affiliated stores this year. These businesses maintain their unique identity and image while accessing the exclusive benefits provided by the brand.
Almería, La Rioja, Valencia, Teruel, Lugo and A Coruña are just a few of the over 20 provinces where these projects have been launched. Notably, the first affiliate in the Canary Islands, specifically in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has joined this initiative.
“We are an unconventional distribution company with a business model that focuses on supporting local commerce. To achieve this, we equip El Sabio store owners with all the necessary tools to innovate, evolve and transform their shops to remain competitive in the market,” the company states. They also highlight that aside from adopting the brand, there are alternative pathways for joining El Sabio. These are formulas tailored for businesses that already enjoy strong recognition in their local area or sphere of influence, with no intention of relinquishing this recognition but eager to capitalise on the benefits and services provided by the company.
In this regard, the brand is delighted with the positive response from the sector to become a part of this premium model of local commerce, where the goal is straightforward: “We help them sell more,” emphasises the company, while also mentioning that growth projections for the last quarter of 2023 are optimistic.
A unique model
When El Sabio was founded in 2020, it defied the established norms in a segment unaccustomed to change. The company introduced a clearly distinctive value through an open, versatile and multichannel business model, offering various pathways for potential partners to join.
As a result, all El Sabio stores benefit from the brand’s services with the aim of evolving and using tools that enable them to compete in an increasingly dynamic and ever-changing market.
“El Sabio’s approach is to assist these businesses in enhancing their profitability through personalised advice and strategic methods for optimising management,” explains the company. They also note that their range of services encompasses everything from digitalisation and training to the option of adding products from brands such as Truper, Orewok, Kuril, Ryobi, Infaco or Weibang to their portfolio.
Own label
Naturally, in the national expansion model, El Sabio encourages the establishment of stores featuring its own label. This is regarded as the premier way to join the project because these businesses fully embrace the brand’s image, renowned for its modern and innovative style.
Three years after entering the sector, the outcome of this approach is evident in the numbers—a consistent increase in the number of El Sabio stores, with an average of three new additions each month. Furthermore, there has been a growth in the number of stores that adopt the brand’s identity, which currently amount to 26 businesses throughout Spain.
