Ordes (A Coruña), 28 July 2022 – The hardware, DIY, home, outdoor and garden chain El Sabio has closed the first half of the year with six new establishments, which means that the brand now has a total of 22 shops in Spain. El Sabio has expanded its business in Madrid, Galicia and Andalusia since the beginning of 2022, therefore strengthening its presence in areas where it is already established.
The openings of ”sabios” Xesteira and Deravela, in Galicia, Elnanta, Montefrío and TodoCampo, (Andalusia) and Master Pol, in Madrid, which took place between March and July, represent a further step in the brand’s firm commitment to continue gaining presence in the hardware sector to become a benchmark for highly specialised local commerce through a different business model.
The expansion operation launched by El Sabio just a year and a half ago is part of the Galician group Internaco’s business strategy, which decided to strengthen the traditional hardware store model by transforming this type of establishment into new shopping experiences.
The company, based in Ordes, A Coruña, decided to create a solid network of shops with a clearly local approach and a strong personality, shops prepared to compete without complexes in the 21st century market, invaded by the depersonalisation of large multinationals.
Advice and personalisation
