El Sabio Todocampo becomes the chain’s fourth store in Andalusia and 22nd in Spain.
Ordes (A Coruña) 08 July 2022.- El Sabio, a chain of hardware, DIY, home improvement and garden tool shops, opened today its fourth store in Andalusia—specifically, in the city of Seville—as part of its national expansion strategy. The new store, El Sabio Todocampo, has the largest net floor area in all of Spain to date, totalling 700 square metres.
Leading El Sabio Todocampo, which is located on Avenida Montesierra, just 500 meters away from the Los Arcos Shopping Centre in the Andalusian capital, is José María Sánchez Rodríguez. But he will not be the only one serving its customers, since he will be aided in his managerial role by his daughter Ana Sánchez, alongside a team of seven people. “I created two new jobs,” says Sánchez, “because I transferred the staff from another store that I had to El Sabio Todocampo”.
A veteran of the DIY, home improvement and garden sector, in which he has been working for 24 years, José María Sánchez remarked that what seduced him the most about the El Sabio project is feeling “backed by a strong group that is growing and offers a wide and attractive range of products”.
Among the values that differentiate El Sabio Todocampo, which is now the 22nd El Sabio store in Spain, its owner highlighted that it will offer “personalized service and one-to-one advice to its customers”. In addition, it boasts a machinery repair workshop (service centre) as part of its facilities.
Personalized service
Personalized customer care and advice are two of the hallmarks of the El Sabio brand, which was conceived from the start as the antithesis of depersonalization. Created in 2020, it opened its first store in 2021. Now, with this new site in Seville, the firm continues its expansion across Spain following a strategy designed for growth and differentiation in a market that is highly depersonalized by the presence of multinationals.
The group has two of its own brands (Orework and Kuril) as well as other top brands such as Ryobi, for which it has exclusive sales. It has also integrated Ferreglobal, which represents Truper and its subsidiary brands in Spain and Portugal.
Present in ten autonomous communities
El Sabio is currently present in ten of the 17 autonomous communities: Galicia, Asturias, Andalusia, Aragon, the Basque Country, Navarre, Castile and Leon, Castile-La Mancha, Extremadura and the Community of Madrid.
