The project includes 23 shops that have adopted its brand and over 200 partners across Spain.
Making small businesses and local hardware stores great, whilst strengthening their essence: this is one of its founding aims.
Valencia, 29 September 2022.- El Sabio – a company specialised in hardware, DIY, home, country and garden and belonging to the Internaco Group – will participate next week in Eurobrico, the International DIY Fair, in Valencia: one of the sector’s leading forums. It will do so with an innovative stand, designed to share its differentiating value proposal for the traditional ironmongery sector with both visitors and representatives from its interest groups.
An initiative based on benefiting growth and transformation, boosting business, without compromising shops’ essence or the advantages of the local business model – this is what El Sabio aims to show through its display space at the trade fair, which will act as a meeting point for any ironmongers and entrepreneurs wishing to discover the project.
To this end, its stand – with its ground-breaking image – has been designed to showcase the most important elements of this business project: promoting the figure of the traditional ironmonger, along with the services offered by the model and the brands distributed in its shops. This space will show the essence of El Sabio: the company’s ability to improve existing ironmonger’s shops or to drive innovation in newly-created hardware stores.
El Sabio is not just a brand
El Sabio is not just a brand. This is a company that offers hardware material and has created a transformational project for local businesses within this professional sector. It was launched in 2020 and opened its first two shops, in A Coruña province, in early 2021, in the midst of the Covid pandemic.
To date, 23 shops have adopted the brand in 10 of Spain’s 17 autonomous regions, and they stand out – amongst other things – for the wide range of outdoor equipment products that they offer. The project also boasts over 200 partners nationwide – these shops have not taken on the El Sabio brand, as they already have a well-known image locally, but they benefit from many of the advantages and services that the project entails.
Project benefits
For any shop wishing to join, El Sabio provides tools and resources to drive change, helping businesses to become more profitable and simply managed: services promoting digital transformation, consultancy and training; a complete package of marketing tools; access to exclusive brands; and a carefully-designed business image under the umbrella of a very robust, differentiating brand.
These services, combined with the values inherent to traditional hardware stores – such as recommendation, personalised customer service and advice – make this business model an unbeatable choice. It chooses to prioritise a distinctive shopping experience, whether in person or online, in a market full of large multinationals.
Corporate social responsibility
Communicating this value proposal will be the El Sabio team’s mission over the three days that Eurobrico lasts. The staff members who have travelled to Valencia will also emphasise the company’s firm commitment to corporate responsibility.
In this sense, one of El Sabio’s main commitments in terms of CSR is to achieve compliance in its main shops with all the conditions established by Autism Friendly Club, ensuring that their premises adapt to the needs of customers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): staff training, drafting of specific protocols and accessibility, including pictogram signage of the different areas of the shop and a map of the surrounding area available on the store’s website.
A unique product range
In addition to its commitment to approachability and 100% personalised service, El Sabio’s unique range of products makes it different. It has two own brands (Orework and Kuril) and exclusive sales of other top brands, such as Ryobi and Truper.
How to Change when Everything Changes
As part of the programme of activities to be held by El Sabio at Eurobrico, between 4th and 6th October, of particular note is the upcoming talk by the company’s head of Strategic Planning, Ricardo Muñoz, entitled How to Change when Everything Changes. The director will use the opportunity to share with attendees certain key aspects of El Sabio’s mission, vision and values.
In parallel, he will offer his vision on the changes that companies – particularly those following the traditional business model – should adopt to innovate and stand out, in order to avoid being left behind. The presentation will take place on 6th October, from 12pm, at the Eurobrico Forum space.
